27/09/2019 - Nicolas de Reforest'Action
In mid-September, the first meeting of Reforest'Action's Ethics Committee was held in our offices. This inaugural meeting was an opportunity to review and validate documents related to our governance, ethics and communication.
Our Ethics Committee is rich in the diversity of its members, specialists in forest, climate and carbon, biodiversity and CSR issues.
4 renowned experts
In order to be accompanied in the best possible way on the ethics of its development, Reforest'Action has surrounded itself with leading experts. All of them are references in their field. The committee is composed of Renaud Bettin, Manager at Carbone 4, expert in Carbon Neutrality, Sylvain Boucherand, CSR specialist and co-founder of B&L Evolution, Hervé le Bouler, Head of "forest policy" at FNE, and Julie Marsaud, Supervisor of National Parks at the Ministry of Ecological and Solidarity Transition.
Together, they will accompany us over the long term to guide our thinking, our positioning and our action on various subjects such as carbon, our collaborations with our partners and contributors or the messages we promote. They intervene within the committee in their own name and not on behalf of the organization in which they work.
First constructive meeting
In mid-September, the committee held its inaugural meeting at Reforest'Action's headquarters in Rueil-Malmaison. This first step was an opportunity to lay the foundations for the committee's missions, to set the frequency of meetings and to review and validate framework documents for Reforest'Action. These documents relate to our governance, ethics and communication.
Through rich and constructive exchanges, the committee members praised our approach while consolidating certain elements. We would like to thank them for the time they have devoted and will continue to devote to accompany the meaningful project Reforest'Action is carrying out in the service of the forest and future generations.
