Résumé du projet
Located in the east of central Jutland in Denmark, the plot in question is a derelict agricultural site that is to be entirely wooded to blend in with the adjoining forest. Four tree species will be planted. The aim is to diversify the stand and ensure its resilience in the face of natural hazards. The restoration of ecosystems will help to develop and host local biodiversity. In the long term, the trees will store carbon and produce sustainable timber. For the local population, this new forest will have a recreational value, as it will welcome walkers and sports enthusiasts. Moreover, the trees in the future will also ensure forest continuity in the area, playing a full part in the formation of a resilient forest heritage.Principales essences :
