Arval commits to financing 300 carbon credits in the Envira Amazonia forestry project in Brazi and encourages its drivers to follow up.
Thanks to its drivers and through the efforts of Reforest’Action, Arval supports the preservation of a tropical forest ecosystem and its biodiversity.
Adopting the habit of eco-conscious driving can reduce the impact of vehicles on climate change, compared to driving aggressively.
In order to sensitize the clients on a more sustainable and safe mobility, Arval launched the Arval Driving Rewards program. For each driver within the program reaching an eco-score of 90/100 each month, Arval will contribute incrementally to the ENVIRA Amazonia project by purchasing carbon credits:
When the driver eco-score for the month is above 90%, Arval will purchase the equivalent of 75 KG of CO2 compensation (or 0.075 Carbon Credit)
When the driver eco-score for the month is above 95%, Arval will purchase the equivalent of 100 KG of CO2 compensation (or 0.1 Carbon Credit).
So by being a more eco-conscious driver, the clients can first of all limit their CO2 emissions and secondly make an additional contribution via Arval and Reforest’Action.
