As an eco-responsible data centre operator, Digital Realty is committed to reduce its impact on the environment. Thanks to continued efforts to reduce carbon emissions, Digital Realty is carbon-neutral (scope 1 and 2) since the end of 2020. The company wanted to go further and join a reforestation programme in France. In 2021, 17,045 trees will be planted with Reforest’Action. Two French sites will be concerned, in the South of France and in the Île-de-France region, where Digital Realty is based.
