Since 2019, OMNI Handling commits to plant one tree in Portugal or in Spain for each ground handling assistance. Forests cover approximately 45% of the iberian peninsula but are threatened each year by devastating wild fires. As a handling company based in Portugal, we want to actively participate in the preservation of this European sanctuary of biodiversity and motivate our clients to reduce their carbon emissions via use of more efficient engines and cleaner source of energy such as SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel) in order to reach our sector’s goal of net zero emissions by 2050.
