North-west of Paris, the planting site is located on the banks of the Seine. This plot is surrounded by rich vegetation and a diverse fauna including moorhens, swans, ducks, passerines and coypu. The local population regularly visits the forest for walks and sporting activities. This urban forest project is based on the introduction of local riparian species. The planting of 134 trees will enhance the existing biodiversity while respecting it. In the long term, this new perennial ecosystem will create environmental benefits such as refuges for biodiversity and mitigation of the effects of climate change. It will also enhance the landscape aspect of the semi-industrial zone.Principales essences :
Fagus sylvatica 'Purpurea', Quercus petraea, Alnus glutinosa, Sorbus torminalis, Ilex aquifolium, Viburnum opulus, Prunus spinosa, Euonymus europaeus, Salix repens, Sambucus nigra
