Résumé du projet
In the Deux-Sèvres department of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, the plot in question is to be reforested. The current stand, made up of a coppice of dying chestnut trees, shows few signs of regeneration. Recently, the chestnut trees have fallen victim to ink disease, a condition that causes the death of affected specimens. In the space of just a few months, the massif concerned by the project died of the disease. The restoration project is designed to prevent this forest ecosystem from becoming a wasteland. It will include the planting of deciduous species adapted to the site. This diversification will not only make the massif more resilient, but will also enable it to host a rich biodiversity... An approach that will particularly improve the habitat of wildlife. In the long term, the trees planted will store carbon, helping to combat global warming.Principales essences :
Quercus petraea, Sorbus domestica, Carpinus betulus, Quercus pubescens, Pyrus communis, Sorbus torminalis, Prunus avium
Nombre total d'essences :
7
