Résumé du projet
In the Puy-de-Dôme department, the Livradois-Forez Regional Nature Park is home to the 8 plots involved in the project. They cover a total area of 3.40 hectares, where the previous owner had carried out clear-cutting. Unfortunately, this action was not without consequences, causing soil erosion and altering water quality in the area, which in turn may have affected the surrounding plots. The project involves replanting a significant mix of deciduous and coniferous trees. This diversification will reconstitute a rich ecosystem, favourable to biodiversity, within the site. This will enhance the landscape quality of the plots and benefit walkers. In the long term, this system will help combat soil erosion and promote sustainable wood production. Ultimately, the trees planted will ensure forest continuity in the area and contribute to the formation of a resilient tree heritage.Principales essences :
