Located on the edge of the Loir-et-Cher department, this land has been abandoned for many years. The aim of the project is to plant trees on three different types of land. There will be an afforestation of cultivated land that has been abandoned for 20 years, an afforestation of heathland with ferns, and a reforestation following the grinding of a dying coppice. A mixture of five species adapted to the site will be planted on this project, both deciduous and coniferous, in order to extend a diversified forest cover over the area. The growth of this new, sustainably managed forest will help capture carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, thereby combating global warming. The diversity of tree species will enhance biodiversity, while providing materials and a sustainable source of energy. Ultimately, the trees planted will ensure forest continuity in the area and contribute to the creation of a resilient forest heritage.Principales essences :
