Résumé du projet
As a result of the various reparcelling policies of the 60s and 70s, the Bresse bocage in the Ain department has lost much of its surface area. For all the ecosystem services provided by the hedgerows, it is now time to repair the bocage by adapting it to the demands of the agricultural world. A few remaining hedgerows and woodlands form the remnants of a once-rich landscape. There is still time to take action to restore the plant continuity needed to shelter the region's biodiversity. These future plantations of tree alignments and dense hedgerows will provide a haven for local biodiversity. These hundreds of trees and shrubs will enrich the plant heritage. Our plantations include some thirty different species. This diversity of species provides shelter for a large number of species, some of which act as crop auxiliaries, protecting crops from pests and pathogens.
