Résumé du projet
In the south of the Meuse department, the slopes of the similarly named valley are home to these two forest plots, with a total area of 6.70 hectares. This low-density forest had already been reforested twice in 2019. Unfortunately, the plantations had failed due to drought. It was therefore necessary to reforest to ensure the forest's future. The project involves restoring the forest by planting a variety of tree species to enhance its resilience. Reforestation will also filter water, cool the soil and prevent erosion. Over time, the trees will store carbon, helping to combat global warming. The project will also restore the environmental value of the forest, encouraging the development of biodiversity on the plots.
