Résumé du projet
In the Cher department, this plot of land covers more than 10 hectares. The new owner wishes to extend the existing 15-hectare forest by creating an afforestation on this site. A keen silviculturist, he plans to plant a wide variety of trees, including conifers and broadleaves, as well as forest fruit trees (nannyberry, corm, pear and apple). This tree-planting project will create a genuine forest ecosystem. Increasing the wooded area on this land will extend the habitat for biodiversity. The planting of diverse tree species will provide it with numerous resources. The varied stands will be hardy and provide quality wood, storing carbon in the long term. Finally, the trees planted will also ensure forest continuity in the area, playing a full part in the creation of a resilient forest heritage.
