Résumé du projet
Located in the Avesnois Regional Nature Park, these plots total 8.9 hectares and were mainly planted with ash trees. The stand was affected by a fungus, Chalara fraxinea, a pathogen responsible for a fungal disease known as "chalarosis". The fungus is responsible for leaf wilting, stem necrosis and branch desiccation. This damage leads to the death of the affected individual. This planting project will therefore reconstitute a healthy stand resistant to chalarose. The diversity of species chosen will encourage greater biodiversity and create a more resilient stand. In addition, this plantation project will produce wood and store carbon. Finally, the trees planted will contribute to the creation of a resilient forest heritage.Principales essences :
Pseudotsuga menziesii, Larix sp., Quercus petraea, Tilia cordata, Populus sp., Sorbus torminalis, Acer pseudoplatanus
