Résumé du projet
In the Hauts-de-France region, the Les jardins du Cygne association, which specializes in hedge planting, works with local authorities, associations and private individuals. This season, 37 projects were launched, mainly involving the planting of single hedges. In all, 25,012 trees of 34 different species were planted. Bocage hedges are recognized for their many benefits: they protect land from the wind, limit soil erosion, promote animal welfare and enrich the landscape. In the long term, the plantings will help to improve the green fabric of the Arnèke area. Depending on the project, the trees will improve the quality of life of the herds and protect crops. They will also help fight global warming by storing carbon.Principales essences :
Acer campestre, Crataegus monogyna, Carpinus betulus, Prunus avium, Viburnum lantana, Viburnum opulus, Corylus avellana, Prunus mahaleb, Quercus petraea
