Résumé du projet
This project is located on the Chantilly estate, but is unfortunately showing significant signs of decline. The decline is due to a combination of biotic and abiotic hazards, including droughts, cockchafer attacks and heavy game pressure. In order to restore the massif, major planting and natural regeneration work have been undertaken. A wide range of tree species adapted to the region's climatic conditions are being planted, with the ultimate aim of creating a resistant and resilient forest. At the same time, silvicultural work is carried out on the trees to support regeneration. Fences are also installed to protect the trees from wildlife pressure. Ultimately, the Chantilly forest will be able to continue fulfilling its environmental, landscape, social and economic functions.Principales essences :
Quercus petraea, Pinus pinaster, Cedrela angustifolia, Sorbus torminalis, Prunus avium, Pinus nigra subsp. salzmannii
Nombre total d'essences :
6
