Dans les Pays de la Loire, l’initiative regroupe 13 projets d'implantation de haies bocagères en Loire Atlantique et Vendée accompagnés par l'association Horizon Bocage. Ces projets sont opérés chez des agriculteurs et des particuliers, ils ont pour objectif de réintroduire l'arbre dans un paysage marqué par l’agriculture. La démarche permettra de structurer le maillage paysagé. Les arbres introduits permettront l'accueil de la biodiversité et participeront aux continuités écologiques du territoire. En outre, les haies permettront d'améliorer la fertilité des sols et l’accueil de la biodiversité. Elles joueront également en faveur de l'agronomie : en effet, des sols plus fertiles favoriseront de meilleurs rendements au sein des parcelles cultivées. Enfin, les arbres stockeront du carbone, luttant ainsi contre le dérèglement climatique.

In the Pays de la Loire region, the initiative brings together 13 hedgerow planting projects in the Loire Atlantique and Vendée departments, supported by the Horizon Bocage association. These projects are established in farmers' and private individuals' lands, they aim to reintroduce trees into a landscape marked by agriculture. This approach will help structure the landscape. The trees introduced will encourage biodiversity and contribute to the area's ecological continuity. The hedges will also improve soil fertility and host biodiversity. They will also improve agronomy: more fertile soils will encourage higher yields in cultivated plots. Last but not least, trees store carbon, helping to fight climate change.
