L'objectif principal de ce projet est d'instaurer une diversité d'espèces afin de favoriser la création d'habitats variés et renforcer la résilience de la forêt aux changements climatiques. Une forêt diversifiée offre une multitude de niches écologiques, ce qui augmente sa capacité à s'adapter aux perturbations futures.En plus de promouvoir la diversité des espèces, le reboisement vise à restaurer la fonctionnalité écologique de la région. La restauration de la forêt permettra de rétablir ces services précieux, bénéficiant ainsi à la nature et à la société. Ce projet contribuera également à la lutte contre les changements climatiques en augmentant la capacité de la forêt à stocker le carbone atmosphérique. Les forêts jouent un rôle crucial dans l'atténuation du changement climatique.

Following a bark beetle attack in 2020 and subsequent logging, natural regeneration of the spruce forest has not taken place as expected. This requires human intervention to restore this vital ecosystem. A reforestation project is therefore essential to re-establish the vegetation cover.

The main objective of this project is to establish species diversity in order to promote the creation of varied habitats and strengthen the forest's resilience to climate change. In addition to promoting species diversity, reforestation aims to restore the region's ecological functionality. Restoring the forest will help to re-establish these valuable services, benefiting both nature and society. The project will also contribute to the fight against climate change by increasing the forest's capacity to store atmospheric carbon. Forests play a crucial role in mitigating climate change.
