Projects typologies
Agroforestry
Creation of sustainable agro-ecosystems by integrating trees and shrubs into or around agricultural plots, particularly in the form of hedges.
Forest restoration and creation
Renewal of forests degraded by biotic or abiotic hazards, or creation of a new forest stand.
Mangrove
Restoration of mangrove forests, which cover 75% of inter-tropical coasts, deltas and estuaries.
Hedge
Agroforestry method involving the planting of trees and shrubs in the form of hedges to create bocages and delimit agricultural plots.
Forest conversation (REDD+)
Protection, restoration or creation of forests with the aim of improving their capacity to sequester carbon - in a quantity that is verified and certified by third-party organizations - and creating co-benefits, notably for biodiversity, soil and water.
Urban forest
Creating forests in urban and peri-urban areas to create islands of freshness and biodiversity in the city.
Silvopasture
Agroforestry method combining livestock rearing with the creation or management of forest plots.
Natural regeneration
A soft forest management method that preserves and strengthens existing forests, through forest maintenance work that respects and mimics the natural reproduction cycle of trees.
