Project summary
The aim of this project is to restore a dying forest and an abandoned wasteland left by its former owner. On the outskirts of the Millevaches Regional Nature Park, the owner has grouped together various more or less abandoned plots in order to recreate larger, more coherent woodland areas. He will take advantage of the heterogeneity of the terrain to plant different species in the most suitable locations. Gradually, the connectivity between the woodlands in the area will be enhanced, allowing local biodiversity to be better expressed, in addition to the forest's carbon sequestration function.Main species:
Pseudotsuga menziesii, Larix decidua, Acer pseudoplatanus
Total number of species :
3
