Context

These parcels represent an area of 13.5 hectares. It has been about ten years since the former owner abandoned his agricultural activity, leaving these fields to become wastelands invaded by grass, an environment whose ecosystem has no dynamics, in some places invaded by the bramble.

This tree planting project will create a real forest ecosystem. Increasing the amount of woodland on these agricultural lands will create a tremendous refuge for biodiversity. Finally, the planting of hardwood species is accompanied by many forest fruit trees such as cormier, alisier, medlar or apple. These trees complement the so-called "objective" species, they are meliferous and provide the food that biodiversity needs.
