In Peru, we renewed our partnership with the Urku Center, based in Tarapoto. Our goal by 2024 is to finance the planting of a minimum of 180,000 trees, which will be used for agroforestry among the region's traditional populations.
Since 2016, Reforest'Action has been involved alongside the Urku Centre, an Amazonian research institute located in Tarapoto. The project aims to plant trees of various species in agroforestry in the Amazon rainforest. Discover the news of the last few months about our project!
In early March, a new planting season opened in the San Martin region of Peru. Stéphane Hallaire, President of Reforest'Action, went to Tarapoto, on the edge of the Amazon forest, to visit our Urku Institute partners. Go with him to meet those who plant and pamper your trees on the ground!
