Description
Union Street is committed to protecting our environment, our planet and our people’s health.
Union Street’s software products by their very nature are better for the planet than a physical product, but there is still a lot more we can do to reduce our own carbon emissions. As part of our environmental and sustainable commitment we are working with Reforest’Action to plant a tree, each year, for every Union Street customer and as our business grows, so too will our commitment. In 2021 we planted 2000 trees around the world’s forests and in 2022 we want to plant more trees in the UK where we are based to help our immediate environment.
Other initiatives by Union Street to reduce our carbon footprint include using a hybrid office model with a flexible ‘work from home’ policy and offer a cycle to work scheme thus reducing our people’s carbon footprint. We also regularly send out reusable products such as chilly bottles and reusable masks to encourage sustainability.
We will use this positive collaboration with Reforest’Action as a platform to increase our commitment and business activities that will give back to our planet to ensure the long-term safety of our people and our environment.
